Agape (ἀγάπη) is the Greek word for the love of God — selfless, sacrificial, and unconditional. It's the same love Christ showed us, and the love we're called to show others.

Our Goal

Agape Coffeehouse was created out of love, as the name conveys. Our mission is to serve excellent coffee, cultivate a nurturing environment, and inspire people to serve others — drawing our community closer to the Holy Trinity.
Our vision is simple: a space in Clearwater, FL where people gather over coffee and are inspired to love and serve one another. We are a community that truly loves God and loves others, proven not just by what we say, but by how we live.
We created Agape Coffeehouse to live out the Great Commission — putting our faith into action and building real relationships within our community. Coffee has a way of bringing people together, offering a simple, meaningful way to share life with one another. When we serve those in our local community, both the giver and the receiver are blessed — drawn closer together, and closer to Christ.

Our Church

We have strong ties to our church, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater. It's a warm, loving community rich in the traditions of our Christian faith. That faith is central to who we are, and we try to live it out every day. Agape Coffeehouse is an extension of this faith — a way to put love into action and help others.

Our Story

In 2025, Adam Ulery was reflecting intensely on what he should focus on for the next phase of his career. He was asking the Lord questions such as: “How can my work directly bring myself and others closer to Christ?” and ”How can I encourage more people to love others?”
Meanwhile, Adam found himself meeting people to answer questions about Eastern Orthodox Christianity and the Orthodox Church. He was doing this at coffee shops and observed that a comfortable, local coffee shop brings people together.
The idea of a mission-driven coffee shop began to form. He imagined a company that activates people to put their time and energy into helping others. He envisioned a space where coffee attracts people, who then serve others and are thereby drawn closer to Christ. And so Agape Coffeehouse in Clearwater, FL was created!
