Our Goal
Agape Coffeehouse was created out of love, as the name conveys. Our mission is to serve excellent coffee, to create a nurturing environment, and to lead people to serve others, bringing people closer to the Holy Trinity. Our vision is a space where people join together over coffee and are inspired to serve others out of love, bringing people closer to God. We are a community of people who love God and love others, truly, as proven by the way we live. We created Agape Coffeehouse to live out the Great Commission, to put our faith into action, and to build strong relationships and a community so we can do this with others! Coffee brings people together and offers an excellent way to share life with others. Serving others in our local community helps both the person receiving the help and those providing it, bringing people closer together and closer to Christ.​
Our Church
We have strong ties to our church, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Clearwater. Our church is a warm, loving community that is rich in the traditions of our Christian faith. Our faith is very important to us and we try to live it out every day. Agape Coffeehouse is an extension of this faith and a means to put love into action to help others.
Our Story
In 2025, Adam Ulery was reflecting intensely on what he should focus on for the next phase of his career. He was asking the Lord questions such as:
“How can my work directly bring myself and others closer to Christ?” and ”How can I encourage more people to love others?”
Meanwhile, Adam found himself meeting people to answer questions about Eastern Orthodox Christianity and the Orthodox Church. He was doing this at coffee shops and observed that a comfortable, local coffee shop brings people together.
The idea of a mission-driven coffee shop began to form. He imagined a company that activates people to put their time and energy into helping others. He envisioned a space where coffee attracts people, who then serve others and are thereby drawn closer to Christ. And so Agape Coffeehouse in Clearwater, FL was created!
