Love in Action

"I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me." ...And the King will answer and say to them, "Assuredly I say to you inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to me."
Matthew 25:35-36, 40

Christ shared with us 7 works of mercy we are to carry out towards our fellow man, putting our love into action. By loving other people, we are loving God.

To feed the hungry.

To give drink to the thirsty.

To clothe the naked.

To ransom captives.

To shelter the homeless.

To vist the sick.

To bury the dead.

Investing our time and energy in someone else, not only relieves stress and anxiety, makes us happier, and improves our mental state, but it improves our spiritual health as well.
